Think Pink!

Sometimes we just have pointless questions and pointless needs to write and blog…here’s to my pointless blog…..

This past week, princess has had a lot of activities going on, so we of course must get dressed in our cutest to be seen in public! I’ve noticed a theme with her wardrobe…. PINK! PINK PINK!

Now I am a huge fan of pink, “pink is my signature color,” as they say. And when I found out I was having a girl all I could picture was the pink pile of cuteness that awaited me! During this week it occurred to me…what if my daughter grows up to hate this fabulous color!

Perhaps me suffocating her in pink will turn her off of the color?

What if I’m stereotyping girls and boys too much? I mean, in my mind all girls wear pink and all boys in blue and greens but a little princess can be stunning in blue as well, right?

I’ve come to the conclusion that I am over thinking my wardrobe choices for my little one and should just have with it!

As these questions stroll through my mind I still find myself thinking pink. All moms are different, but I will most likely continue my pink parade with my little one just because that’s the kind of gal I am. After all, who knows, she might end up being my only girl, and I have the right to…well the right to PINK!

So, if my girl ends up despising my color of choice and wants to only strut her stuff in all black that is okay with me too, you know,…if she’s at least sporting a cute pink bag or shoes 😉

I can’t help it, I’m THAT mom!
