Greetings from planet mommy

Hello and welcome to my Blog! My Name is Ashley OB and I am from Texas! I am a graduate of a small private catholic university and a Grad student of the same institution. During my college years I was in a sorority and loved living it up and having fun. I decided to pursue my desire to keep to learning and mostly to keep my loans from kicking in 😉 and got accepted into the Mental Health Counseling Program of my Alma Mater. During my journey I stumbled upon a part time job at the local YMCA and met a handsome young man, Robert, with whom I fell in love with. He proposed after almost two years, on a horse and carriage ride, with a little blue box! We married 18 Months later on August 31, 2013. A month Later I found out I was pregnant and 38 weeks after we said ‘I do’ we welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Audrey, on May 23. This past year has been quite the whirlwind of emotions. I am now staying at home full time to watch my 3 month old Princess while daddy works his new big boy job for the state. I will be back in school part time next year but in the mean time i’m adapting to my drastic life change, and learning to wife and Mommy all while trying to remain sane.

I am starting this online keepsake, of sorts, in order to keep family and friends filled in on what is going on with us! As well as to let me vent openly about day to day happiness, struggles, and chuckles, of marriage and mommy-ing and anything and everything in between. This is my first ever Blog so i’m hoping to just have fun with it and write a few times a week! Enjoy!

I'm a lifestyle blogger and mommy of two Gorgeous baby girls! I am currently in the process of re-branding! What was formerly has blossomed into mommygorgeous my wish is to encourage other mom's to know how gorgeous you in fact are! You don't need the make-up, fashion, or fitness to be gorgeous! I write about and review these topics for fun, and to help other moms save some time. Despite the dirty snot, diapers, and chaos surrounding your mommy life is GORGEOUS. So, whether you are hoping to get pregnant, 9 months pregnant, currently in labor, surrounded in current toddler chaos, or an empty nester, know that you're "Mommy Gorgeous" all the time.
